The EU Accessibility Directive became Swedish law a few years ago and applies to the public sector.
\nOn June 28, 2025, the new version of the law will enter into force and now also applies to the private sector, especially digital communication and e-commerce.
\nIt will naturally place greater demands on businesses to ensure that their websites, products and services are accessible and meet the new EU requirements.
\nIf they fail to do so, they risk fines and the removal of the service or product from the market.
\nIn addition, it does not single out individual types of operators, but products and services.
\nIn the case of products, all economic operators in the supply chain are responsible for accessibility, from manufacturers, importers and agents to distributors.
\nThis introductory course provides participants with a basic knowledge of digital accessibility, be it web, apps or other products and services, of guidelines as well as legal frameworks and relevant policy decisions.
